Hirschmann connector as standard

Thanks to the standardized STAS 3 / STAK 3 connector (also known as Hirschmann connector), you can easily control almost any type of motor for shading technology with the Loxone Smart Home system. Simply insert the Loxone Air Actuator between the power cable and the motor and secure with the integrated clamp (secure and waterproof connection).

By the way, we can use the Actor Air not only for shading but also for other purposes, e.g. switching outdoor lighting or a garden pump. It contains two relays that together handle 5 A with protection class IP 54 (splash resistant)

Automatic detection of shield end positions

The new Air Actuator detects the end positions of the shielding and transfers them to Loxone Config. This saves the time that had to be spent calibrating the ride. Thanks to automatic end position detection, you can see the current shield position in your visualization.
