Tool-free access to filament tubes
Removing a broken filament on the first generation AMS requires removing all spools and disassembling the cover with two screws, which takes 3-5 minutes. The AMS 2 Pro allows direct access from above without tools.

Ceramic filament inlets with a Vickers 1200 hardness rating greatly increase durability.
