Overview

Melt extrusion printers generate volatile organic substances when printing, because the heating temperature of ABS, PC, PA and other materials is relatively high, resulting in more volatile organic substances. Materials such as PLA with lower melting temperatures produce much less VOCs when printed. These VOCs are absorbed by our activated carbon air filter.

Instructions

The X1-Carbon printer comes with a carbon filter to filter the air from the cabinet before it is vented out.

Here's how you can replace it:

1. Remove the plastic cover

2. Remove the carbon filter by gently pulling on it.

3. Install a new carbon filter

4. Attach the plastic cover
