Spontaneous release after cooling

PEI is an excellent material for 3D printing applications due to its ability to withstand repeated heating and cooling cycles of the printer's heatbed. Prints are easily removed when the temperature of the heating pad reaches room temperature, and we always recommend waiting until it reaches 35 deg. C or lower. If the print still sticks to the plate, simply bend the steel plate and the model will fit right into your hands.
*In some situations, an adhesive is required for very specific fibres

Textured finish

Bambu Texture PEI Plate offers a unique first layer surface. Through the application of a powder coating process, this PEI Build Plate creates a rough texture that adds texture to your prints.

Compatibility with different materials, especially PLA

PEI allows printing with common materials such as PLA, TPU, PETG and PVA. Note: Use a liquid glue or glue stick to prevent the plate from tearing if you print a filament other than PLA.


Installation steps

Step 1: Align the plate with the fixed points of the platform with the name of the plate facing you

  • Clean the surface regularly with detergent and water to remove any dust or grease first. If that doesn't work, clean the surface with alcohol

  • Do not clean textured PEI with acetone as this will damage the PEI surface.

  • Always wait a few minutes for the plate to cool before removing printed models so that the print can be easily removed. This prevents damage to the plate and ensures a long product life.

  • A PEI textured board is considered a consumable part that will deteriorate over time. The warranty covers only manufacturing defects, not cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents or cracks. Defective sheets on delivery are the only ones covered under warranty.
