What is the difference between P1S and P1P?

Compared to the P1P, the P1S offers a fully enclosed print chamber and a more powerful cooling solution that includes an auxiliary cooling fan to cool the prints, a chamber controller fan to stabilize the temperature of the inner chamber, and a control board fan to help cool the control board. In addition, we have equipped it with an activated carbon filter that provides a solution for printing filaments such as ABS that are prone to releasing odors and harmful gases during the printing process.

What is the difference between P1S and X1C?

The P1S is based on the P1P with an improved cooling solution and enclosure. However, it is not recommended to directly print filament reinforced filaments, such as glass fibre or carbon fibre, before upgrading the extruder and hotend. X1-Carbon is equipped with Micro Lidar for advanced AI detection features and offers more convenient and efficient screen interaction.

I just ordered a P1P. Can I pay extra and get a P1S?

We recommend purchasing an upgrade kit to upgrade. If you still want to exchange your P1P for a P1S, please follow the relevant return and refund policy in the online shop.
P1P will need to be returned for a refund, then you can place a new order for P1S.

Warranty period


The general warranty period starts from the date of receipt/shipment of the product from the supplier.

The warranty period for the Return and Refund Service, Replacement Service and Repair Service may vary depending on your product, the part that has experienced problems or the country of purchase.

Warranty periods for different countries/regions:

2 years warranty for EU, Swiss, Norwegian consumers.

One-year warranty for the rest of the world (any country not listed above).

Limited warranty period - 3 months
Some products and components have a limited warranty period of 3 months. These are:

AMS Hub
AMS first stage feeder

Consumable parts without warranty


"Consumables" are defined here as disposable items, parts or components of a product that are naturally subject to damage and wear during the normal operation of the product.

Consumable parts include, but are not limited to:

Complete assembly of the hotend and all its individual parts
Extruder gearbox assembly
Building boards, replacement sheets for building boards, solid/liquid adhesives
PTFE tubing and connectors
AMS driven sleeve unit, AMS driven sleeve unit and AMS feeding funnel
Fiber cutter, scraper, fans, fiber wipers, activated carbon air filter, desiccant, fiber, etc.
These items are not covered under warranty, but we will gladly replace any products that fail due to manufacturing defects.

The decision to replace these items will be at the discretion of Bambu Lab and the decision will be final.
