The use of Smooth PEI Plate contributes to improved Z-axis accuracy during the printing process and provides greater accuracy and consistency in the vertical dimension. These features make the Smooth PEI Plate an excellent choice for print parts that require a high level of precision in the face where accurate alignment and close tolerances are critical.
Surface Finish

Smooth and matt finish

Using a specially selected matt PEI sheet can add a smooth and matt texture to the bottom surface of the printed item, improving its overall appearance.

Compatibility with various filaments, especially PLA

PEI allows printing with common materials such as PLA, TPU, PETG and PVA. Note: Use liquid glue or a glue stick to prevent tearing of the printing plate if you are printing a filament other than PLA.

  • If bubbles appear on the bottom of the leaf, heating on a heated bed at a temperature of at least 80 degrees for several hours may be useful to remove the bubbles.

  • Clean the surface regularly with detergent and water to remove any dust or grease first. If this does not work, clean the surface with alcohol.

  • Do not use acetone to clean the PEI plate as it may damage the PEI surface.

  • Always wait a few minutes before removing the printed models to allow the plate to cool down so that the print can be removed easily. This prevents damage to the plate and ensures a long product life.

  • The Smooth PEI board is considered a consumable part that will deteriorate over time. The warranty covers only manufacturing defects, not cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents or cracks. Defective sheets on delivery are the only ones covered under warranty.
