Excellent first coat adhesion, increased durability

After optimizing the manufacturing process of the Bambu Texture PEI board, the durability of the board has increased. In addition, the adhesion between the print and the plate is significantly improved, eliminating the need for adhesives.

Spontaneous release after cooling

PEI is an excellent material for 3D printing applications due to its ability to withstand repeated heating and cooling cycles of the printer's heatbed. Prints are easily removed when the heating pad temperature reaches room temperature, and we always recommend waiting until it reaches 35°C or below. If the print still sticks to the plate, simply bend the steel plate and the model will fall right into your hands.

Compatibility with different materials

PEI allows printing not only common materials such as PLA, TPU and PETG, but also materials that require high temperatures such as ABS and Nylon.

Prevent bending with reliable magnetic adhesion

The Bambu Texture PEI plate is equipped with a 0.5mm thick stainless steel plate to increase magnetic adhesion. This helps prevent warping and ensures optimal print quality during 3D printing, reducing the likelihood of first layer separation due to warping. It also helps when printing larger models in materials that are prone to deformation such as ABS, PC and Nylon.

Textured finish

Bambu Texture PEI Plate offers a unique first layer surface. Through the application of a powder coating process, this PEI Build Plate creates a rough texture that adds texture to your prints.

Installation steps

Step 1: Align the plate with the fixed points of the platform with the name of the plate facing you

Step 1: Align the rig's fixed point label with the label name facing you

Step 2: Lower the plate and secure to the magnetic platform

Step 2: Lower the board and secure it to the magnetic platform

Please read carefully

  • Automatic flow calibration is not supported on the PEI plate and we do not recommend flow calibration on the PEI plate to avoid print quality issues. The texture of the plate can interfere with the LIDAR calibration, resulting in poor calibration results.

  • First layer inspection is also not supported by the PEI board due to the print surface structure.

  • Automatic calibration for flow rate is not recommended as the LIDAR will have difficulty reading the print area correctly and the calibration may be affected

  • Regularly clean the print surface with dish soap and hot water to remove any dust or grease that may cause poor adhesion. IPA can also work, but the best solution for cleaning the plate is to wash it to ensure the best performance.

  • Do not clean textured PEI with acetone as it will damage the PEI surface.

  • Always wait a few minutes for the plate to cool before removing printed models so that the print can be easily removed. This prevents damage to the plate and ensures a long product life.

  • A PEI textured board is considered a consumable part that will deteriorate over time. The warranty covers only manufacturing defects, not cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents or cracks. Defective sheets on delivery are the only ones covered under warranty.
