Electronic key - based on 1-Wire

Each person can be assigned a special key, which contains a chip with a unique and immutable serial number. Therefore, you can set up a simple and effective access control system for your home or business at an excellent price with this technology.

How it works

By attaching the electronic key, a signal is sent to the reading device. The electronic key reader is then connected to a 1-Wire device, such as the Loxone 1-Wire Extension, where the signal is further processed for a specific function.

Usage:

Thanks to seamless integration with Loxone configuration software, you can easily change access rights at different times of the day or access other functions. E.g.: When you get home in the evening and attach the electric key to the reader, the front door is unlocked and the hall and living room lights come on. To make matters worse, your favourite music will start playing in the living room. With Loxone everything is a breeze!!

This solution can also be used in other ways, for example, to prevent access to the machine room for certain workers. The goal is that only authorized personnel have access and permission to operate certain machines or equipment in a given room or building.
