Fast, stable and powerful: the Neptune 4 Pro is a great addition to the Elegoo range. The FDM printer is equipped with a high-performance high-speed motherboard, achieves an incredible maximum print speed of 500 mm/s and is compatible with Klipper firmware.

Neptune 4 Pro compared to Neptune 4

While both printers have broadly similar features, there are three key differences that make the Neptune 4 Pro stand out:

> Heated pad with two heating zones: both printers are equipped with a 250 W heated pad. However, the Neptune 4 Pro's smart heated pad has two independent heating zones (150W + 100W).

Stable construction with a modern look

The Neptune 4 Pro boasts a sleek and modern design with a gantry design that makes the printer portable and stable.

Incredibly fast print speeds

The FDM printer uses a high-performance processor that allows it to reach a maximum speed of up to 500 mm/s. Elegoo recommends a default print speed of 250 mm/s for best results.

The processor is equipped with a special motion control algorithm that is able to calculate the step time with high accuracy for greater motion precision.

High-speed silent motherboard compatible with Klipper firmware

The powerful 64-bit quad-core high-speed silent motherboard ensures quiet operation by effectively reducing printing noise. It also features 8G memory and supports the secure storage of over 400 model files.

Unlike other Neptune printers compatible with Marlin firmware, Neptune 4 and Neptune 4 Pro printers come with Klipper firmware.

Large print space for greater creativity

With a print area of 225 × 225 × 265 mm, the Neptune 4 Pro enables even the most creative projects.

All-metal linear rails

Both the X and Y axis use all-metal rails that can withstand heavy use, with U-shaped steel wheels for less resistance and greater precision.

250 W heated pad with two independent heating zones

Both Neptune 4 and Neptune 4 Pro have 250 W heated pads that reach temperatures of 110 °C in a very short time. The main difference between the two is that the Neptune 4 Pro smart heating pad has 2 independent heating zones: while one operates at 100W, the other operates at 150W. In the case of Neptune 4 Pro, there are 2 independent heating zones. Thanks to this intelligent system, you can significantly reduce your energy consumption because only the area required for the size of your model is heated.

You can activate the "smart mode" when adjusting and setting parameters in the slicer. It automatically detects the size of the model and heats only one area of the pad if you are printing a smaller model, or both areas if you are printing models of different sizes at the same time. Of course, the heating zones can also be controlled or set manually on the screen.

Magnetic PEI printing platform

Thanks to the special PEI coating, the printed model can be easily separated from the printing platform after the heated pad has cooled down without tools.

Self-developed Dual-Gear-Extruder with direct drive

The Dual Gear Direct Drive-Extruder of the Neptune 4 Pro, developed by Elegoo, is even 25% lighter than the extruder of the Neptune 3 Pro. It allows for higher extrusion force, resulting in a 5.2 times extrusion ratio and greater printing accuracy.

A wide range of materials are supported, such as PLA, ABS, TPU, nylon, etc.

High temperature hotend for temperatures up to 300 °C

The Neptune 4 Pro printer hotend features a high-temperature all-metal copper-titanium main tube and a unique air channel design for improved heat dissipation. The hotend is designed for temperatures up to 300 °C.

In addition, the hotend of the nozzle has been extended to allow the filaments to be completely melted and extruded evenly.

Powerful cooling system

Like Neptune 4, Neptune 4 Pro is equipped with a sophisticated cooling system. It combines a heat dissipation module with an intelligent fan controller to ensure complete heat dissipation during printing:

4 high-performance 4020 fans with a maximum rotation speed of 10,000 rpm dissipate heat during high-speed printing;
2 4015 side fans cool the model during printing at a maximum speed of 11,000 rpm.
Intelligent fan control automatically turns off all fans when printing is complete, which not only saves energy but also reduces noise levels.

Manual or 2.0 automatic balancing: the choice is yours

The Neptune 4 Pro is equipped with a high-precision non-contact sensor that automatically acquires data from 121 points (11 x 11) on the printing plate, increasing print success rates.

Intelligent features for greater flexibility

> Filament Detection Sensor: if the filament breaks or runs out, an error alarm is automatically triggered and the printing process is interrupted to prevent model errors or wasted material.

> Smart Resume Printing: in the event of a power failure, you can resume the printing process as soon as the power is restored.

4.3-inch capacitive display

The 4.3-inch magnetic touchscreen can be attached to the printer base or held comfortably in your hand.

The screen supports several languages: simplified Chinese, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, German, Spanish and Japanese.

Printing over LANs

You can remotely control and monitor the printing process via WEB terminal

Easy-to-use X/Y axis belt tensioner and wider Y axis for more precise movements

The belt tension can be easily adjusted by turning the knob.

The Y-axis profile has been widened (to 56 mm) allowing for more stable and smoother movements.

Dual Z-axis motor with spindle

The Neptune 4 Pro uses two powerful Z-axis motors with a spindle. These ensure better print quality and greater accuracy.

LED lights for creative modelling

Daylight is not enough to admire your creative print models. That's why the Neptune 4 Pro is now equipped with an LED light! While 1 LED light is placed next to the nozzle, a light bar with 30 LED lights is also attached to the top of the printer frame. The LED lights can be easily switched on and off on the touchscreen.
