When using the probe in an aggressive environment, increased degradation of the sensor electrodes may occur. Degradation also occurs in humid environments when a DC supply voltage is applied due to ongoing electrolysis. Therefore, when measuring humidity, do not perform continuous measurements, but periodic measurements where the power to the sensor is disconnected after the measurement. The larger the period you choose, the less degradation there will be. If you are unsure how to use the sensor correctly, please contact our technical department. If the sensor is used incorrectly, subsequent claims will be disregarded.
