Important information before use


  • Variations in the colour and gloss of the Engineering Plate appearance and the removal of exposed metal areas are only minor adjustments to optimise the manufacturing process and surface quality. If the coating remains on the nozzle when wiping the nozzle, it will be heated and melted before printing the model. Such changes do not affect leveling, Lidar, adhesion or range of use. You can shop with confidence!

  • Before automatic levelling, the nozzle must be wiped repeatedly in the special wiping area of the Engineering Plate to completely remove any residual material at the nozzle tip. The coating in the specially designed wiping area gradually wears off over time. This is normal and does not affect print quality or nozzle life, so you don't have to worry about quality issues.

  • Bambu Lab recommends using only official Bambu Lab adhesive on Cool Plate and cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to the plates due to the use of third party adhesive.

  • The Bambu High-Temperature Plate is a sticker that is applied to the Bambu Engineering Plate that can be used on both sides. It is a consumable print surface that is used in conjunction with a thin layer of adhesive and works well with most common filaments and scripts.

  • Bambu High-Temperature Plate leaves a smooth surface on the model that comes into contact with the high-temperature plate, and may require a little post-processing to clean up the adhesive

    Step 1: Align the plate with the fixed points of the platform with the name of the plate facing you

    Bambu High-Temperature Sheet (Smooth PEI) is a replacement sheet for Bambu High-Temperature plate

    Notes

    Bambu High-Temperature sheet is easy to replace and install.


    After tearing off the original leaf, wipe the surface with alcohol. When applying a new sheet, make sure the surface remains dry.


    You can use an anhydrous ethanol solution or an isopropanol solution with a concentration greater than 90% to wipe the plate.


    You can also use detergent and water to clean the surface.
    Before printing, it is also best to use a special strong glue (Glue Stick for Build Plate) to avoid damage when removing the model.
