Important information before use


  • Variations in the colour and gloss of the Engineering Plate appearance and the removal of exposed metal areas are only minor adjustments to optimise the manufacturing process and surface quality. If the coating remains on the nozzle when wiping the nozzle, it will be heated and melted before printing the model. Such changes do not affect leveling, Lidar, adhesion or range of use. You can shop with confidence!

  • Before automatic levelling, the nozzle must be wiped repeatedly in the special wiping area of the Engineering Plate to completely remove any residual material at the nozzle tip. The coating in the specially designed wiping area gradually wears off over time. This is normal and does not affect print quality or nozzle life, so you don't have to worry about quality issues.

  • Bambu Lab recommends using only official Bambu Lab adhesive on Cool Plate and cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to the plates due to the use of third party adhesive.

    Bambu High Temperature Plate (PEI)

    Overview

    • Cool Plate is pre-adhered to the Bambu Flex Plate and 2x Cool Plate stickers are included
    • The Bambu Cool Plate is a sticker that is applied to the Bambu Engineering Plate. It is a consumable printing surface that is used in conjunction with a thin adhesive layer and works best for low heat deflection filaments
    • Bambu Cool Plate leaves a smooth surface on printed models that come into contact with Cool Plate and may require a little post-processing to clean up the adhesive.

    Benefits
