Flood sensor LD-12
Flood sensor LD-12
The Jablotron LD-12 flood sensor has two outputs - one is active when the sensor is submerged, the other is active when it is "on dry land". For example, the Quido I/O module is ideal for evaluating flooding. More

The detector is ideal for indicating flooding space (cellar, bathroom, etc.) with water. The principle of operation of the LD-12 flood detector is explained in the following figure. In the left part the sensor is flooded, in the right part the sensor is dry.

Remote flood detection over Ethernet? With the I/O module Quido!
The ideal way to remotely detect flooding of your property is to connect a flood sensor to the Quidu ETH 3/0. The connection between the sensor and the Quida is simple, as can be seen in the following figure. (The sensor can also be connected to most other Quid that have inputs.)
Connecting the flood detector and Quida ETH 3/0
The status of the sensor can be monitored after connection on the Quida web interface, which also can inform you about the flood by email, HTTP GET to your server, etc.
