Rat Rig V-Core 3.1 - configurable kit-500 x 500mm

V-Core 3 is a premium DIY kit for the CoreXY 3D printer without compromise.

If you want to be able to choose the components that will be included in your machine, you should probably look for a configurable V-Core 3 kit, we will be happy to accommodate you.

This "standard kit" is for users who are unsure of what configuration options to choose, and are primarily interested in purchasing a kit that is as complete as possible, including all necessary electronics, and with proper documentation to guide them from start to finish. If you're not feeling particularly adventurous, this is a "sure thing" V-Core 3. For the sake of clarity, this is our favourite machine configuration that we use on our own print farm. Be sure to read the longer description below to understand exactly what you are buying!

STANDARD CONFIGURATION

This "standard kit" is for users who are unsure of what configuration options to choose, and are primarily interested in getting the most complete kit possible, including all the necessary electronics, and with the appropriate documentation to guide them from start to finish. If you are not feeling particularly adventurous, this is the "walled garden" of V-Core 3 - we recommend staying here if you are just starting out and need someone to hold your hand and show you the way! ;)

For the sake of clarity, this is our favourite machine configuration that we use on our own print farm.

The default configuration only allows you to select the desired build volume. For each build volume, you are buying it when you add that item to your cart:

- (mechanical set).
- 1x BTT Octopus v1.1 + 6 x 2209 drivers
- 1x Phaetus Rapido UHF Hotend - black - 1.75 mm - 24 V
- 1x Bondtech LGX Lite Extruder
- 5x Nema 17 stepper motor - 48 mm - 1.8 steps/step, 76oz-in (LDO-42STH47-2504AC)
- 6x Nema 17 stepper motor cables with lengths corresponding to the machine size.
- 1x heater pad set (including SSR)
- 1x FlexPlate set - powder coated PEI
- 1x LRS 24V power supply (Weho 250W for EU/UK customers, Meanwell 200W for non-EU customers)
- 1x GDSTime ball bearing fan - 40mm brushless axial 24V DC (ready with 1500mm cable and XH2 connector.54)
- 1x fan - 4028 axial - Protechnic MGT4012WB-W28-C (1,2A / 12V / 23000RPM)
- 1x Z probe "SuperPinda" from Pepperl & Fuchs (5VDC inductive sensor)
- 1x set of limit switches corresponding to the machine size (includes X and Y limit switches, cables with pre-installed xh connectors).
- 1x Printed Parts (LGX Lite + Phaetus Rapido) - PETG light green

NOTICEFOR USERS IN COUNTRIES THAT USE 120V NETWORK
NOTE: If your country uses 120V network, keep in mind that the power supply included in this kit contains a switch that allows operation at 115V or 230V. By default, all units are shipped with the switch set to 230 V, so you must switch this switch before using the power supply.

NOT PART OF THE DELIVERY
We are working on it, but for now the default configuration is not the same as the complete turnkey kit. Some items will need to be sourced elsewhere.

- Power cord - you will need to get a power cord with a plug to plug the machine into the wall. We don't supply them because we ship worldwide and different countries use different types of plugs.

- Additional printed parts (LAN/IEC adapter, rear cable management mandrel/nut/pin on electronics panel) - these parts are not necessary for cable management and can be printed later.

- IEC/Lan plug - these parts are optional and must be provided by the user.

- Crimping cables - you may need a crimping tool to assemble electronics.

- Optional electronics panel and closure panels - these are to be procured by the user locally, DXF files with dimensions, shape and hole patterns for the panels are available for this purpose. The use of 4 mm thick polycarbonate sheets is recommended (CAUTION: thicknesses above 4 mm are not recommended as they would interfere with the XY motors). In our shop you can also find Enclosure 2.0 500mm (without printed parts, you can do it yourself or contact us)

- Fasteners for attaching the electronics to the back panel (however, 8 generic nylon spacers are included for this purpose).

- Depending on the size of the machine and where you want to install the control board, extension cables may be required for the following components: BLTouch, SuperPinda, heating element and thermistor, limit switches - these components come with short cables and we do not currently stock extension cables for them. We recommend that you get the following cables:
