This Klipper-based machine is similar in many ways to Bambu Lab's P1P, but has two major additions.

Two Trees introduces the SK-1 printer, which is based on Klipper technology and at first glance resembles the Bambu Lab P1P printer in many ways.

The SK-1 is a CoreXY machine with a build volume of 256 x 256 x 256 mm.Boasting a top speed of 700 mm/s (with a suggested 300 mm/s) and an acceleration of 20,000 mm/s, features such as automatic flow calibration, vibration compensation, ripple optimisation and Z-tilt levelling.

In terms of hardware, there is a direct drive extruder with two feed wheels with a 9.5:1 gear ratio. The extruder allows a discharge rate of up to 32mm3/s, a "high temperature" nozzle with a temperature of up to 300°C, a double-sided PEI build plate and - also different from the P1P - a wide 4.3-inch full-colour touchscreen. The SK-1 can also be connected to Wi-Fi for remote printing and print monitoring. An Ethernet port is also available,

Although a camera for print monitoring is not included as standard at the moment and any Klipper-supported camera can be connected via the USB port. The OpenSource Klipper will also allow for further extensions and enhancements to the printer, e.g. the use of AI for print status evaluation (in conjunction with the camera) or the installation of an OSS filament feeder The Enraged Rabbit Carrot Feeder (ERCF) is a scalable solution for multi-material/multi-color 3D printing. The ERCF was designed as an add-on to Voron printers, but can be used with any 3D printer with Klipper and possibly RRF firmware.

Most of these features are comparable - if not identical - to the P1P. Aside from the display, there's one other major difference: the SK-1 works with ball-bearing guides for smoother movement, the main goal of which is to increase accuracy.

Another difference is the possibility to connect OpenSource solutions for filament exchange etc. thanks to Klipper.

The manufacturer also covers/ventilates the printer with a plexiglass cover. (Can be ordered or made by yourself)
